SAN DIEGO PRIDE DYKE MARCH RETURNS AFTER MORE THAN A DECADE
Community Invited to Join Historic March Celebrating Visibility, Resistance and Joy
SAN DIEGO, CA — (July 10, 2026) San Diego Pride will kick off Pride Week with the return of the San Diego Pride Dyke March on Saturday, July 11, marking the first official Dyke March in more than a decade.
The Dyke March is a powerful act of visibility, resistance, joy, and solidarity. Returning at a time when LGBTQIA+ communities continue to face attacks on our rights, healthcare, and freedom of expression, the march creates space to gather in collective power and unapologetic community.
In this context, “Dyke” is not a limiting identity. It is an energy rooted in courage, resistance, and a refusal to be erased. The march celebrates queer women, lesbians, queer people, transgender and nonbinary people, gender-expansive communities, and everyone who feels aligned with that spirit.
